The former leaders of the KLA War Veterans Organization (OVL) hope that the trial against them in The Hague will end within this year. This was stated by the lawyers of Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj, at the second trial preparation conference, held on Thursday by the Specialist Chambers.

The presiding judge, Charles L. Smith, has said that they plan to open the trial on October 7 and 8, adding that the hearing of the material evidence will take place on October 18, and will continue for two full weeks...
