Former Kosovo President Osmani "supports" Ilir Ferati’s statement on recent developments
Former President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has refused to comment on developments within the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), saying she fully supports the statement made by the party’s Secretary, Ilir Ferati.
Osmani was asked whether she would keep her position as a member of parliament, to which she said she would comment when the time comes.
“LDK Secretary has made a statement, I ask for your understanding. I think he has explained quite a lot and has addressed all the issues that are important. I fully support that statement in its entirety. Regarding all other issues, I will declare myself when the time comes,” Osmani said, KosovaPress reports.
The Secretary of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Ilir Ferati, has stated that so far no request has been submitted to the party’s offices for holding an Extraordinary Assembly, despite reports that signatures for such an initiative would be delivered on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Ferati said there is no official information confirming that such an initiative will be formalized.
