The Parliamentary Investigative Committee regarding the decision-making process in the energy sector for the period 2006-2022, at the legislative, executive, regulatory and public enterprise levels, held its next meeting on Tuesday.

The former head of the KOSTT company, Fadil Ismajli, testified before the members of the committee. After the interest of the MPs, he presented the role of KOSTT in energy trading, for which he said that the same is not within the competence of KOSTT, but in the capacity of the market operator which only determines the rules of the parties on how to behave in the market.

However, he announced that in the period 2006-2008, Kosovo mostly imported energy from IFT Group from Serbia. According to him, based on the communications he had at that time with KEK, he was told that this company is the cheapest bidder...
