Today marks five years since the long wait ended and Kosovo finally became part of the largest football organization in the world FIFA. At the 66th FIFA Congress in Mexico, the delegates of this congress voted for Kosovo.

Out of 205 delegates who participated in this congress, Kosovo received 141 'pro' votes and thus becoming its newest member. After joining FIFA, the representative of Kosovo started its matches in the League of Nations and in the qualifications for the European 2020, where so far it has not suffered any loss, KosovaPress reports.
