Five people lost their lives at their workplace this year in Kosovo, and there were 81 accidents, of which, 45 were categorized as serious injuries. The data of the Labor Inspectorate speak of all sectors, but the situation in construction is more difficult, as injuries in this sector are more frequent due to the height at which workers work.

The Deputy Chief Inspector of the Labor Inspectorate, Agim Millaku, in an interview for KosovaPress admits that safety in the workplace in the construction sector is not at the required level, as he says, despite the efforts that they are constantly making.
