Fetahu becomes a member of the Board of FIBA Europe
A fantastic news comes from Munich, Germany, where the president of the Kosovo Basketball Federation (KBF) has been elected as a member of the FIBA Europe Board.
The news was announced by the Kosovo Basketball Federation itself through an announcement on "Facebook", the news which the federation described as a great success for Kosovar basketball, KosovaPress reports.
"An extraordinary news comes from Munich. The president of the Kosovo Basketball Federation, Arben Fetahu, has been elected as a member of the FIBA Europe Board. This is a great success for the Kosovo Basketball Federation and Kosovo Basketball", wrote KBF.
Fetahu was elected board member of FIBA Europe with 39 votes in the elections held at the General Assembly of the European basketball government.
Fetahu is the first person from the region to be elected as a member of the FIBA Europe Board. Fetahu is also a member of the FIBA Europe Legal Commission.
