In the category up to 63 kilograms, Laura Fazliu was defeated in the quarterfinals of the Grand Slam Paris by the Canadian judoka, Catherine Pinard-Beauchemin, KosovaPress reports.

Meanwhile, in the fight for the quarterfinals, Fazliu passed the first round without a fight, while in the second he defeated the judoka from Kazakhstan, Samalay Yergaliyeva.

In the quarterfinals, Fazliu was defeated by the Canadian Pinard-Beauchemin, and now he continues the competition in the repechage, with the opportunity to win the bronze medal.
