28-year-old Kushtrim Hoxha from Prizren and 30-year-old Jetmir Rexhepi from the village of Celine of Rahovec are the victims who died while coming to Kosovo, as a result of a traffic accident in Hungary, where their car collided with a truck and had caught fire.

This is what Kushtrim's uncle, Bashkim Hoxha, tells KosovaPress while emphasizing that the authorities are finding it difficult to identify Jetmir Rexhepi, since the latter had caught fire in his car along with all his personal documents.

He adds that an autopsy will be performed on the bodies of the victims, for which he says that probably the family members of Jetmir will need to go to Germany to follow the identification procedures.

Hoxha states that they have not received any accurate information about when the dead bodies of the victims will be returned for burial in Kosovo.

Among other things, the victim's family member says that 20 minutes before the accident, Kushtrimi contacted his son and told him that he is on his way to Kosovo.

He also says that Kushtrimi is the only son of his brother, who was born after three sisters, and that the same has now left behind a four-month-old daughter.

Regarding the case, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gërvalla, also reacted. Through a post on Facebook, it has been announced that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, through diplomatic missions in Hungary and Germany, together with the Hungarian authorities, are carrying out all the necessary procedures for the return of their bodies.
