Despite the fact that Kosovars have been able to move freely through the countries of the European Union for four months now, they continue to be loyal visitors to Albania's tourist attractions.

The coast, alpine tourism, adventure sports and agritourism are attracting many visitors, including those from Kosovo.

The General Director of the National Tourism Agency in Albania, Zana Qela, in an interview for KosovaPress, says that she expects an increase in the number of Kosovar tourists, even though the citizens of our country, since January of this year, have the opportunity to visit many other countries in Europe.

Qela points out that the number of Kosovars who visited Albania during the first three months of this year has increased by 50 percent, compared to the same period last year.

Qela told KosovaPress that they are working so that Albanians see Kosovo as one of the most attractive destinations to visit, while mentioning adventure sports as the most attractive.

Among other things, the General Director of the National Tourism Agency in Albania, Zana Qela, says that after the Kosovars, the number of visitors from Italy has tripled compared to previous years.

She emphasized that Albania is becoming a year-round destination, while mentioning that in addition to the coast, alpine tourism, adventure sports, also agrotourism is attracting more and more visitors.

Meanwhile, according to INSTAT data, in 2023, about 4.4 million visitors entered Albania from Kosovo with an increase of 67 percent compared to 2022. The arrivals of citizens from Kosovo accounted for 43 percent of the total number of foreign citizens. /Z. Zeneli/
