In the framework of the EU-Western Balkan Summit for the new Growth Plan today in Tirana, the Commissioner for Enlargement of the European Union, Oliver Varhelyi, announced that the agreement was signed for four areas.

Varhelyi emphasized that the countries of the Western Balkan region will receive 6 billion euros in aid, but in order to attract these additional funds in the form of grants and loans, there are some conditions that must be met by the countries of the region.

He announced the details of the agreement, which are related to the review of transaction costs, the removal of waiting times at border points, scientific research work and free internet in public spaces throughout the Western Balkans.
