Heartfelt moments at the Special Court: The KLA four greet their families before the start of the hearing
With the curtain separating the public gallery from the courtroom lifted, the four KLA leaders greeted their family members, who today arrived in large numbers at the Special Court building.
Each of them, while waiting for the trial panel to enter the courtroom, looked to their left, smiled and waved at their relatives.
Rexhep Selimi was seen making a “heart” gesture with his hands toward his loved ones, KosovaPress reports.
His wife, Shqipe Selimi, is present in the gallery today.
At 09:00, the hearing began with the submissions of the victims’ counsel.
Afterwards, the defense lawyers will have the opportunity to present their comments regarding the statements made by the SPO on Monday.
Following the lunch break, statements are scheduled from Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi.
