Both of these parties today formalized their pre-election coalition, to which they said that other political entities or initiatives in the country can also join.
In a press conference after the meeting of the AAK General Council, the leader of this party, Ramush Haradinaj, said that the citizens of the country have remained unrepresented and fought by the Kurti Government.
NISMA President Fatmir Limaj said that Kosovo more than ever needs the unification of all political forces, which want to see the development of the country in a different way. He also pointed out that their eternal orientation is European integration and NATO.
Haradinaj has also responded to the statements of the speaker of parliament Glauk Konjufca, according to which the race for the first place in the next elections is certain and that the race will be tough for the second place, thus alluding to the serial victory of Vetëvendosje in power.
The General Council of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has today decided on the pre-election coalition AAK-NISMA.
In the text of the statement, it is stated that AAK and NISMA Social Democrats conclude a coalition agreement for the next general elections 2024-2025.
AAK and the Social Democratic NISMA run on a joint list and undertake to harmonize the political platform and program for the general elections whenever they are held.
The political objectives and technical aspects of this coalition are specified with a special annex that will be attached to this agreement, concludes the joint statement of the AAK and the Social Democratic Initiative of Kosovo.
