The leader of the Democratic Union List, Duda Balje, accompanied by several party members, has just arrived at the Government of Kosovo building to meet with the outgoing Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, where they will discuss the formation of the new government. Kurti also met today with Fikrim Damka from the Turkish Democratic Party of Kosovo, KosovaPress reports.
Yesterday, Albin Kurti announced that he has started consultations with non-majority communities for the formation of the new government. He said on Wednesday that he met with the leader of the New Democratic Party (NDS) from the Bosnian community, Emilija Rexhepi, the leader of the Party for Freedom, Justice, and Survival from the Serbian community, Nenad Rashiq, as well as the leader of the New Democratic Initiative of Kosovo (IRDK), Elbert Krasniqi, where they discussed the formation of the new government.
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has set April 15 as the date for the convening of the constitutive session of the new legislature, resulting from the February 9 elections.
