Dreshaj: The new statute of UP is contrary to the Law on Higher Education
The MP of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Shemsedin Dreshaj, has said that the new statute of the University of Prishtina is contrary to the Law on Higher Education.
Dreshaj said at the press conference on Friday that the drafting of this statute was done through procedural violations, while adding that there are major substantive errors.
According to him, through this statute, the dignity of professors and assistants is violated, as they will be under lifelong stress due to the risk of losing their jobs.
For this reason, the opposition MP said that the new UP statute will be sent to the Constitutional Court for evaluation.
