Kosovar boxer Donjeta Sadiku continues to wait for positive news regarding the visa that would enable her to travel to India, where the World Boxing Championship will take place from tomorrow.

When there are already a few hours left until the start of the tournament, KosovaPress learns that Donjeta and her team have not yet received a positive response from the Indian authorities to travel to this country which does not recognize Kosovo as an independent state.

Concerned with this situation are the Boxing Federation of Kosovo, Sadik's coach, Marjola Sallauka, but also the Olympic Committee of Kosovo and the Ministry of Sports.

Although there are only a few hours left, the Secretary of the Boxing Federation of Kosovo, Latif Demolli, has briefly said that they continue to wait and that they are still talking with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India.

"We are still in talks, we will talk again", Demolli said briefly to KosovaPress.

Donjeta Sadiku has prepared maximally for this championship and aims for elite medals if she is given the opportunity to go down to the ring there. She won European and World bronze medals last year.
