The Olympic gold medalist has secured another medal for Kosovo in international competitions.

Distria Krasniqi will fight today to reach the final of the Grand Slam Paris 2023, where she will face the French judoka Amandine Bouchard in the category up to 52 kilograms, reports KosovaPress.

On her way to the semi-finals, Krasniqi passed the first round without a fight, while in the second she defeated the Spaniard, Marina Diez Castello.

Meanwhile, in the quarterfinals, Distria defeated the Mongolian judoka, Sosorbaram Lkhagvasuren, only to qualify for the semifinals to face Amandine Buchard.
