The adoption of the Draft Law on the Financing of Political Parties is being considered necessary to establish control and transparency in political parties in Kosovo. However, at the roundtable of the Group for Legal and Political Studies, dilemmas were raised about the need to establish an office for financing political parties, in parallel with the CEC. Senior researcher at GLPS, Naser Shamolli, said that before the adoption of the Draft Law, the role of the office for financing parties should be clarified and not the creation of a new body.
