One of the methods that helps in the treatment of patients affected by COVID-19 is estimated to be the treatment with convalescent plasma. This type of treatment has demonstrated its effectiveness in previous uses against Ebola and SARS viruses and several studies, then converted into protocols, showed that convalescent plasma may be useful in treating infection caused by the new coronavirus. At the Kosovo National Center for Blood Transfusion (NCBT) of 1,000 volunteers who have expressed readiness to donate convalescent plasma, only 240 of them have met the necessary values. Whereas, in the Infectious Diseases Clinic they say that the use of convalescent plasma for infected patients has increased. In addition, the calls of citizens on social networks have increased for volunteers who have passed the coronavirus and who still have antibodies up to 50 of them.
