MP of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) Blerta Deliu-Kodra has addressed a series of criticisms against the Kurti Government for corruption scandals and affairs.

In a press conference, she mentioned the recent case of the arrest of the chief executive officer of the Regional Water Company (RWC) Gjakova, Hasan Krasniqi, in Bulgaria on February 19, on suspicion of human trafficking.

Deliu-Kodra has said that the arrest of Hasan Krasniqi is just one of the long line of officials of the ruling party who, as she said, were involved in abuse of office.

At the end of this list, Deliu also mentioned the ambassador of Kosovo in Croatia, Martin Berishaj, who, according to her, is the crown of all these abuses.

Deliu-Kodra: Berishaj allegedly benefited 600,000 euros from the GEN subsidiary with headquarters in Belgrade

The MP of the PDK stated that these are just some of the cases, which testify to a three-year government of the Vetëvendosje Movement, full of affairs and corruption scandals, which have damaged the budget of the state of Kosovo and the well-being of the citizens.

At the end of the conference, MP Blerta Deliu-Kodra called on the justice bodies to treat with the greatest seriousness all the affairs in which the Kurti Government is involved.
