As part of the "16 Days of Activism against Violence against Women" campaign, an awareness march with bicycles will be held today to say no to this phenomenon.

The campaign is an annual international activity that started on November 25 on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and lasts until December 10, 2022 on Human Rights Day.

Cyclists have called on all the citizens to participate in this awareness activity and to say no together to violence against women and girls.

The activity starts at 11:00 in "Zahir Pajaziti" square.

"There are 6 km of easy terrain even for beginners who have just started cycling. The event is open to everyone and there will also be an escort from the Kosovo Police. The wearing of helmets is mandatory. Persons under the age of 16 must be under the care of a parent or guardian. It is suggested to have winter clothing suitable for low temperatures and protection from the rain," the announcement states.
