The cyber security expert, Taner Abazi, has stated that Kosovo is at risk from cyber-attacks from Serbia, Iran, Russia and China, therefore, the institutions must have a joint coordination, but also raise their capacities very quickly, training as many staff as possible and investing in the latest technologies for the protection of cyber-attacks.

Abazi said that the state institutions should deal more seriously with the issue of cyber-attacks, since according to him, these attacks can happen every time there are developments in the country. As for personal data, he said that they can be very dangerous if there are omissions and if the institutions do not take the necessary security measures.

The security expert, in an interview for KosovaPress, said that the war between Ukraine and Russia has an influence on these attacks. According to him, attacks in Kosovo can be carried out more easily than those that happened in Albania.
