With the launch of the second phase of the "Expanding Choices: Gender-Responsive Family Policies for the Private Sector in Kosovo - Phase 2" project, the importance of gender responsive family policies in the private sector is being promoted as their implementation is also a direct contribution to the creation of a women-friendly labor market.

This is what the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, declared at the launch of the project "Expanding Choices: Gender-Responsive Family Policies for the Private Sector in Kosovo - Phase 2" from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Council for Sustainable Development.

Konjufca said that initiatives like this are very necessary to create an equal and inclusive society.

Meanwhile, the head of the Fatmire Sustainable Development Council, Mulhaxha Kollçaku, has added that the new labor law will include equality, parental leave and overnight childcare.

Likewise, the head of the UNFPA Office, Visare Mujku-Nimani, stated that this project contributes to well-being, respect for gender equality rights and economic prosperity.

At the end, a photo exhibition has been opened. /A.Shala/
