The rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Viola von Cramon, through a video, congratulated Kosovo on the 16th anniversary of independence, calling on the Kosovo authorities to show more restraint, understanding and, above all, more empathy when dealing with those who may feel deprived.

Cramon said on this day we should celebrate not only the success of Kosovo so far, but also the endurance and determination of its people.

According to her, preserving the multi-ethnic character of Kosovo is not only a political issue, but it is a commitment to justice, equality and respect for diversity.
