Although he was invited to be interviewed by the parliamentary investigative committee on the process of subsidizing the purchase of textbooks and teaching aids for students at the level of Primary Education and Lower Secondary Education for the school year 2023/2024, the director of education in the Municipality of Pristina, Jehona Lushtaku-Sadriu, was not interviewed.

Her evidence was not relevant, since she had won the position of director on February 5, 2024 and since she did not have accurate data, the parliamentary investigative committee will invite the former director of education in Pristina, Besiana Musmurati, to be interviewed.

The PDK MP, Bekmi Haxhiu, said that in order to have a better overview of the process of subsidizing textbooks and school supplies, the director who has this information, Besianë Musmurati, should be invited.

The same has submitted questions to the current director, who will return the answers given to her in writing.

Meanwhile, the MP of the LVV, Armend Muja, responded to Lushtaku saying that her testimony is not relevant.

The director of education in Prishtina, Lushtaku, has added that she is available to answer for her data that she has.

The chairman of this committee, Shemsedin Dreshaj, emphasized that Lushtaku should send the answers in writing and invite the former director.

Meanwhile, at 13:00 the directorate of education in the municipality of Peja will be invited to be interviewed by this committee./A.Shala/
