The citizens of Prishtina protested today against the closure of the "George Bush" street by the Municipality of Prishtina, which is currently being used as a square. They expressed their anger towards the mayor Përparim Rama, complaining about the blockage and asked that this road be cleared for traffic.

Asllan Bajrami, a citizen, says that closing this road is inappropriate on the part of the head of the municipality, who is an architect by profession.

Ramize Curri says that the mayor of Rama should take the citizens' opinion on this decision, because the city belongs to everyone.

Hamit Hoti also complained that citizens cannot use the road to enter their homes, even the ambulance cannot enter the neighborhood when needed.

While Ibrahim Arsa says for KosovaPress, that citizens should be aware at the moment when they talk about the changes in the capital.

The President of Prishtina Përparim Rama yesterday presented the project for the transformation of the "George Bush" square and its connection with other public spaces, where he said that it will take about eight years to complete the total transformation of the capital.
