Speaking at today’s parliamentary session, Kurti said that a misinformed citizen is not a free citizen, but a manipulated one. According to him, this manipulation is coming from “our enemies”, who are also finding “helpers within Kosovo”.

He said the Law on the Independent Council that the government will submit to the Assembly is not intended to control the media, but to protect it from capture.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has levelled strong accusations against media outlets in Kosovo, saying that reports about “cash-in-bags financing” are a direct threat to the integrity of public debate.
