CEC: 85 voters so far in the four northern municipalities
In the four northern municipalities, until 11:00 in the four northern municipalities, for the process of voting for or against removing the mayors from office in the municipalities of Leposaviq, Zubin Potok Zveçan and Mitrovica in the north, only 85 citizens voted.
The Chairman of the Central Elections Commission, Kreshnik Radoniqi has informed that according to the information they have received from the Municipal Election Commissions, 46 voters have voted in Leposaviq, seven voters in Zubin Potok, 32 voters in North Mitrovica, and none in Zveçan so far.
While experts criticize the CEC for changing the voting centers on the last day, Radoniqi told KosovaPress that this happened due to the impossibility of opening the regular voting centers, this news was on Wednesday, and it took some time until the new locations were prepared.
The President of the CEC invites all the citizens of the four municipalities to use this right of theirs to participate in the voting process and declare whether they are for or against the dismissal of the mayor of their municipality.
