Political parties are officially in the election campaign period starting today until the morning of June 7 for the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Kosovo.

Although political entities have already begun holding electoral gatherings both inside and outside Kosovo, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has designated today as the official start of the campaign.

The campaign will last 10 days and seven hours, specifically until June 7 at 06:59. Meanwhile, the planned and approved budget for organizing these elections is 10,887,186.445 euros.

The new elections come after an institutional crisis caused by the failure to elect a president within the constitutional deadline, leading the country into a new electoral cycle.

Major political parties have announced the launch of their opening campaign activities in different cities across Kosovo, while the race is expected to focus on clashes between the main parties and candidates competing to lead the government.

Here is the agenda:

The Democratic League of Kosovo opens its election campaign. (1 Tetori Hall, Prishtina, 18:00)

The Vetëvendosje Movement, together with its partners, opens its election campaign. (Bill Clinton Sports Hall, Ferizaj, 19:30)

The Alliance opens its election campaign. (City Park Plateau, Gjakova, 19:45)

The Democratic Party of Kosovo launches its election campaign. (Square in front of the municipality building, Ferizaj, 20:00)
