Buleshkaj: Over 10,000 asset declarations during 2023

Over 10,000 public officials have declared their assets this year, which were done through the electronic asset system. The director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, Yll Buleshkaj stated that the number of asset declaration registers has doubled. According to him, during 2023 there were also terminations of contracts, and other cases which were sent to the prosecutor's office and the courts.

At the press conference, Buleshkaj said that this year has been successful in the field of conflict-of-interest prevention.

Buleshkaj added that during the year they also dealt with 66 criminal reports from last year.

He promised that 2023 has been successful for the declaration of wealth, where he emphasized that the number of registers has doubled.

Buleshkaj added that during this year, there were about 170 officials who completed training.

Buleshkaj considered that there has been success in whistleblowing, where some cases have been sent to the prosecutor's office.

The director of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, Yll Buleshkaj, said that they managed to train over 180 officials or responsible authorities within the institutions, who are authorized to handle possible cases of conflict of interest. /Sh. Pajaziti
