British ambassador visits polling stations in Drenas: happy to see more people going out to vote in the afternoon

The British Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, after visiting several polling stations in northern Mitrovica and Zvečan, also visited some of the polling stations in Drenas. Hargreaves said on the social media platform "X" that he is happy to see so many people exercising their right to vote, reports KosovaPress.

"Our next stop was in Drenas, happy to see more people going out to vote in the afternoon. I hope all Kosovars will use their right to vote and choose their local municipal representatives," he wrote on "X."

Today, voting is taking place in 38 municipalities of Kosovo. These are regular local elections, where the total number of citizens eligible to vote is 2,069,068. So far, at the national level, 528,803 out of 2,025,105 eligible voters have voted, which is 26.11% across the entire territory of Kosovo.
