Under the auspices of President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti, on Thursday, the traditional manifestation "Symbolic Walk" was held in the squares of Prishtina, with the aim of raising awareness and supporting women facing breast cancer.

President Osmani said that early detection of the disease saves lives; therefore women should pay more attention to themselves and perform preventive checks.

The director of the Kosovo Center for Fighting Breast Cancer Life/VITA, Nafije Latifi, said that there is still work to be done in the health sector for the treatment of this disease, as 450 new cases appear every year with this disease.
