Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi has counted three successes of Kosovo, which have started to be implemented today, such as visa liberalization, the passage of citizens to Serbia without putting stickers on the state symbols of our country on the license plates, as well as the beginning of the payment of electricity in the north of the country.

Bislimi wrote on Facebook that Elektrosever has started nominating the electricity consumed in the four municipalities in the north, which means that KOSTT's deviations will also stop from today.

According to him, after more than 20 years, even in the north of our country, the same electricity will be paid as in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

"January 1, 2024 marked the beginning of important processes for our country, and moreover processes that are happening for the first time. Free movement without visas began and citizens have begun to benefit from this hard-earned right. It is important to remember that it should be used positively, not misused. There are rules within the freedom to travel that must be respected and handled responsibly. From today, our citizens will be able to move without being discriminated against by the Serbian authorities, with our official RKS license plates and without putting the stickers on the state symbols on the car license plates. This was our position from the beginning and this was realized after 2 years of unnecessary tension. Also, Elektrosever has started nominating the electricity consumed in the four municipalities in the north, which means that KOSTT's deviations will also stop from today. After more than 20 years, even in the north of our country, the same electricity will be paid as in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo. 3 processes have started from today, we will undertake and develop other processes throughout the year, always in the service of the interests of all our citizens", he wrote.
