"Beyond pain, towards courage" - KRCT publishes a book with the stories of surviving men
For more than two decades now, they are carrying the greatest challenge on their shoulders. The traumas of thousands of raped women and men are not just left on their skins. Many of their family members and relatives are carrying with them the horror that was experienced during the ‘98 and ‘99. The same experiences were narrated in the book "Beyond pain, towards courage", where ten relatives of survivors of sexual violence in the war and two survivors of sexual violence from the last war in Kosovo were interviewed.
On the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence, KRCT together with the ZFD forum have promoted this book, which is compiled in the form of storytelling. This intends to contribute to the diversification of the story of the war in Kosovo.
