Begaj is honored in Drenas: Let's build a more prosperous and fair Kosovo and Albania
The Municipality of Drenas honored the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, awarding him the title "Honorary Citizen of the Municipality of Drenas", for his outstanding contribution to the Republic of Kosovo and its citizens.
The mayor of this municipality, Ramiz Lladrovci, while thanking President Begaj for the promotion and strengthening of the state of Kosovo, underlined that his role during the war was also great.
Speaking about those who gave a lot for freedom, Lladrovci also commemorated the former leaders of the KLA, who are held in The Hague.
On the other hand, President Begaj, while thanking for the title, emphasized that the history of Drenas is a story of pride, while he said that its citizens have an important role for the whole country.
Meanwhile, Begaj also held a meeting at the Center for the Promotion of Women's Rights in Drenas.
Meanwhile, he paid homage in Gllanasella, where he laid wreaths of flowers.
