The KFOR Commander, Major General Enrico Barduani, met today with the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for European and NATO policy, David Baker.

The meeting was a remarkable opportunity to share visions on the security situation in Kosovo and on the way ahead to best support a renewed political engagement for dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, reports KosovaPress.

Baker, who is visiting Kosovo, reaffirmed the unwavering U.S. commitment to KFOR’s mission in Kosovo, highlighting continued support for regional security and stability.

We recall that the U.S. Defense official will also be received in a meeting this afternoon by President Vjosa Osmani and the acting Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci.
