The spokesperson of the European Union, Peter Stano, has said that Kosovo is the one that should first investigate the September 24 attack in Banjska of Zveçan.

In a press conference, Stano said that the attack in Banjska is something that happened on the territory of Kosovo, and the Kosovo authorities are responsible for investigating and providing a full report.

According to him, such a thing has not yet happened, and the EU continues to not have the results of the investigation for Banjska.

He said that the position of the EU became clear to Kosovo, as well as to Serbia immediately after the attack, but that, as Stano said, all the findings should be included in the final report, which according to him, they still have not received it.
