Acting Special Prosecutor, Alex Whiting, has told the Appeal Panel that sentencing decisions in cases related to obstruction of justice and witness intimidation should perhaps be more severe than decisions in similar cases that have been made in the past in tribunal.

At the Appeal hearing in the case against the former leaders of the KLA War Veterans Association, Whiting said that the sentence that the court imposed on Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj is in accordance with jurisprudence in similar cases, but according to him, the situation currently is different from 25 years ago...
