In a solemn ceremony with high state and military honors, in the presidential palace "Sandor Palace", Ambassador Delfin Pllana handed over the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kosovo in Budapest to the Hungarian President Tamas Sulyok.

Ambassador Pllana on this occasion conveyed to President Suloyk the warmest greetings of President Vjosa Osmani and the Government of Kosovo for the Government of Hungary and the friendly Hungarian people for the continuous support over the years for Kosovo.

In the special meeting with President Suloyk, Ambassador Pllana underlined Hungary's support in the darkest days of Kosovo, during the state-building period and in the processes of integration in various international mechanisms, expressing the promise that he will work to strengthen mutual cooperation in all fields between the two friendly countries.

President Suloyk welcomed Ambassador Pllana and his family, underlining that he expects Hungary-Kosovo relations to advance and prosper in all areas, especially in the economy.

After the end of the ceremony, the delegation was accompanied by the State Protocol to Heroes' Square, where Ambassador Pllana, as a sign of respect and honor, placed a wreath of flowers at the "Unknown Soldier" monument.

Delfin Pllana was appointed to the post of Kosovo's ambassador to Hungary some time ago. In 2021, Pllana was in charge of the work at the Embassy of Kosovo in Bulgaria.
