The Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu stated today that during the Western Balkans Railway Summit 2021, held in Belgrade, there was a request for the railway line Prishtina - Nis, but that according to him, the latter would not make sense without making the connection with the Port of Durres. Aliu, at a press conference held at Pristina International Airport, gave other details regarding the agreement signed in Belgrade. He announced that during the summit he raised the issue of new corridors, since, as he said, the existing railway corridors leave Kosovo aside. While emphasizing that the railway line Prishtina - Nis would make sense only if it would connect Prishtina with Durrës.
