Aliu is determined to transform Shtime

In recent years, the municipality of Shtime has begun to take on a different appearance, to resemble other cities. With the launch of the most elementary projects, the citizens of this municipality are being met with their living needs. The mayor of Shtime, Qemajl Aliu, while he has shown how this municipality was five years ago, he said that today it is very difficult to rebuild it; but that his mission is that the citizens of Shtime do not lack anything.

Mayor Aliu said that they have started many projects from scratch and that some of them have been completed in 2023, and others will start this year.

Aliu has emphasized that 30 low-income families will soon be given the keys to their homes. In the next three years, residents of Shtime will no longer have the problem of where to spend the cold winter nights. He also promises the construction of the 2500 square meter MFMC, for which he said that with the construction of this MFMC, a decades-long problem that the citizens of Shtime have had will be solved.

Aliu said that for the children of this municipality, there will be kindergartens also in villages. The mayor, while showing that kindergartens will be built in the villages of PetrovA, Godanc and Muzeçin, said that he has also thought about the young people where they will spend their free time, for which he indicated that the reconstruction of the youth center has started, as well as for the athletes Shtime's stadium is getting ready.

While talking about the promises given in the electoral campaign, Aliu says that the small roundabout in the city of Shtime will soon end. Meanwhile, the road connecting the villages of Shtime, Pjetershtica, Carraleva, Godanc and Gjyrkofc will be ready in 2024, this road which will increase the perspective of this developing municipality.

Also, Aliu said that for all the readers of Shtime, the new library will be open in March of this year.

With the construction of the city and the villages of Shtime, the hand will be extended to humble families, where the keys to the houses of dozens of families will be handed over very soon.

Qemajl Aliu, while talking about Shtime's projects, said that this municipality has been ignored long time ago, while adding that today he feels grateful for the support he receives from the central government, while he said that this municipality has many needs for improvements.

Furthermore, the mayor Aliu emphasized that with work and commitment, Shtime will manage to develop like the other neighboring municipalities, Lipjan, and Ferizaj.

According to him, his professional past is helping the Municipality that he leads by maintaining good relations with Germany and that the latter is serving the citizens in all aspects.

Aliu said that from this report Shtime's athletes will have the opportunity to exchange experiences with those from Germany, as well as the students will study at the German faculty.

The mayor of Shtime, Aliu said that despite the many projects he plans to implement, he always has time for the demands and complaints of the citizens of Shtime. He also promises transparency.

In the second round of municipal elections for mayor of Shtime held on November 14, 2021, Qemajl Aliu was elected mayor of Shtime. Aliu is also an activist in Vetëvendosje since 2006. /A.Drenica/
