Albanian municipalities plan to develop agritourism
The Municipality of Pristina in cooperation with the Union of Albanian Municipalities and Municipalities in the Region (UBSHR) held the round table "Crowns of Albanian-speaking Cities as an Agritourism Destination".
The Mayor of the Municipality of Pristina,
Përparim Rama said that investments in tourism, in rural areas are already part
of the budget for the next year. According to him, the potential of agritourism
in the rural areas of Prishtina is neglected, while he added that in the
following years, rural Prishtina will be an important pillar.
Rama said that considering the fascinating
nature of the country, the construction of bicycle paths or alternative means
of transportation made them accessible in forms that are more ecological and
healthier, becoming part of the global agenda for a cleaner environment.
