Albania will send additional troops to the NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo.

The addition of KFOR troops in Kosovo is happening especially after the Serbian terrorist attack on September 24 in Banjska, northern Kosovo.

The Ambassador of Albania in Kosovo, Petrit Malaj, speaking about the security situation in Kosovo, emphasizes that the risk of another attack from Serbia could be permanent.

The Albanian diplomat points out to KosovaPress that next year they will bring 40 additional troops to KFOR.

Ambassador Malaj said that currently the number of Albanian soldiers within the NATO mission in Kosovo is over 100.

The Malaj diplomat also commented on the statements of the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani that "Serbia is planning new attacks".

The Kosovar heads of state assess the danger that comes from Serbia for peace and security in the country and the region.

The President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani days ago at the meeting of the EU summit with the Western Balkans informed the European leaders, as she said, about the danger that comes from Serbia for peace and security in the country and the region.

Bundeswehr Brigadier General Ralf Hammerstein has said these days that the security in Kosovo is deteriorating significantly and NATO is increasing its presence in the spring, also with the help of the Bundeswehr - Germany's armed forces.

Also, the American Robert Lansing Institute has expressed concerns about new attacks from Serbia in Kosovo, especially after the incident of September 24.
