In recent days, Albania has had an increasing trend of new cases of COVID-19, and at the same time, suspicions have increased that the "Delta" variant of this virus is circulating, although officially there is still no registered case. Also, the vaccination process is ongoing, where according to the latest information, 1,123,253 vaccinations have been carried out throughout the country, with four types of vaccines.

The Deputy Minister of Health, Eugena Tomini, told KosovaPress, that they have chosen vaccination policies based on the expertise of the Institute of Public Health.
