The head of the Democratic Union for Integration, Ali Ahmeti, estimates that Kosovo should see its interest in relation to regional developments, but says that the "Open Balkans" initiative is not a preparation for a "reconquest of Kosovo". In an interview for KosovaPress, Ahmeti also talks about the position of Albanians in Northern Macedonia on the 20th anniversary of the Ohrid Agreement, which  says it is not yet fully implemented, although he adds that centuries-old prejudices against Albanians are felt less today. Weeks ago, the leaders of Albania, Northern Macedonia and Serbia gathered at the Skopje Forum, naming the "Balkan minishengen" initiative "Open Balkan" or "Open Balkans", in which Kosovo refuses to participate.
