In July of this year, the number of visitors (domestic and foreign) in hotels was 77,481, of which 34.40 percent were domestic while 65.6 percent were foreign. According to the Kosovo Agency of Statistics, compared to July 2024 (when there were 57,447 visitors), there was an increase of 34.9 percent in the total number of visitors in hotels.
“The number of overnight stays was 168,202, of which 36.2 percent were from domestic visitors and 63.7 percent from foreign visitors,” stated the ASK press release during the publication of the Hotel Statistics for July 2025.
According to ASK, the region with the highest number of domestic visitors in hotels was the Peja Region, with 9,208 visitors and 25,734 overnight stays.
ASK also announced that regarding foreign visitors, compared to the previous period (July 2024), there was an increase of 33.3 percent. In total, there were 50,825 foreign visitors, with the largest numbers coming from: Albania, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, etc.
