Police investigators from the Drug Trafficking Investigation Unit (DHTN) of the Prishtina Directorate have handled a case involving suspicions that an individual was engaged in the sale and purchase of narcotic substances.
According to the police statement, following operational and investigative work, on July 15, 2026, on the Peja-Prishtina highway, investigators located the suspect F.P. (born in 1992, Kosovo male), who was inside a vehicle.
“Inside the vehicle and at the suspect’s house, 147.7 grams of a substance suspected to be narcotic, specifically cocaine, as well as other relevant evidence related to the case, were found and confiscated. The case was handled in coordination with the duty prosecutor,” the statement said.
It further states that the house of another suspect, Q.K. (born in 1993, Kosovo male), was also searched, but no prohibited items were found.
The police said that a case has been initiated against the suspects for “unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic substances and analogues.”
By decision of the prosecutor, the suspects have been placed in detention for 48 hours.
