Three people have been injured following an explosion in Podujeva, which is suspected to have been caused by a gas cylinder.
The incident occurred today (Monday) around 08:30 in a shop located on “4 Dëshmorët” street in Podujeva.
The injured were taken for medical treatment at the city emergency center.
The information was confirmed to KosovaPress by the spokesperson of the Kosovo Police for the Pristina region, Flora Ahmeti.
“Today around 08:30, an explosion occurred in a shop on ‘4 Dëshmorët’ street in Podujeva. Police officers were immediately engaged at the scene. Based on initial information, the explosion is suspected to have been caused by a gas cylinder, where three people sustained injuries,” she said.
She also confirmed that the injured were transported for medical treatment at the city emergency center.
“The injured persons have been sent for medical treatment at the city emergency unit. Police are at the scene and are dealing with the circumstances of the incident,” Ahmeti state
