Judo coach Driton Kuka has reacted via a social media post following the latest success in Kosovar sport, emphasizing the strong impact that sport has on society and on raising citizens’ morale.
In an emotional message, he said that sport has the power to unite people and bring positive feelings, especially during a period when the country has been affected by fatigue from political developments and elections. According to him, for a short time, Kosovo experienced special emotions that only sport can create.
“Sport has the power to lift a country on its feet, to bring positivity and indescribable feelings,” Kuka wrote.
He also congratulated the team for what he described as one of the biggest achievements so far in Kosovar football, praising the coach and the leadership of the Football Federation of Kosovo.
Kuka further recalled a special moment from the Paris Grand Slam, where champion Distria Krasniqi was honored in the French capital, highlighting the respect shown not only to the athlete but also to the state of Kosovo.
