A person accidentally shot himself in the leg last night and sought medical assistance at the city emergency room.
The incident occurred in Ferizaj, as reported by KosovaPress.
According to the report from the Kosovo Police, during a search of his home, police seized an air rifle with 223 pellets and a semi-automatic rifle with 71 rounds of ammunition.
“It was reported that the suspect, a male Kosovar, received medical treatment at the city emergency room in Ferizaj after accidentally shooting himself in the leg. Police units went to the scene, at the suspect’s residence, where they found and confiscated: one air rifle with 223 pieces of ammunition (pellets), and one semi-automatic rifle with 71 rounds,” the report states.
In consultation with the prosecutor, the suspect was released to proceed through regular legal procedures after being interviewed.
