Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has not commented on the statement made yesterday by Minister for Communities and Returns, Nenad Rasic.
Rasic had stated that when Prime Minister Kurti decided to give 24 hectares to the Decan Monastery, it was done “for his own favor.” However, today he said he had been mistaken when speaking about this issue on Radio Gorazhdec, KosovaPress reports.
The spokesperson for the Government of Kosovo, Arlind Manxhuka, also confirmed that Rashiq had been mistaken.
“What Minister Nenad Rasic got wrong was the approval of his request for a visit by Patriarch Porfirije for the Orthodox Christmas of 2023,” Manxhuka wrote on Facebook.
Prime Minister Kurti, choosing not to comment on the issue himself, said that clarifications have already been provided by the minister and the government spokesperson.
“The spokesperson of the Prime Minister’s Office has provided clarifications, and the minister himself has also explained,” he said.
